    We love this place..Of course the outback patio on the rock river is the highlight. We have always been welcomed as soon as you walk in the door. The service is super attentive and never had any issues.. if you are looking for a stellar atmosphere and 5 star food you are in the wrong place.. Tads is a local bar with decent food, good super cold beer on tap, easy on the wallet and friendly service..Not a lot of places on the river have their outdoor patio and view..Thumbs up

    I have been here a dozen times year round....over the years.

    Sure summer is the high season at Tads...tiki bar dock...deck....sun fun on the water....obvious smart choice......but its winter .....and watching the ice float down the Rock while cozy and warm on a SUNDAY morning eating brunch is pretty darn awesome....COME ON its magical!
    BEST steak & Eggs in town. The steak was cooked to perfection med/rare like its suppose to be...the eggs over easy like heaven ...the crispy yet tender hash browns golden delicious....The western Omelette and the Sourdough toast....oh yeah now your living...for the kids the pancakes n sausage n bacon !!!
    Chef knows his grill and how to deliver consistent top notch eats every time....breakfast,lunch and dinner!
    The service....well that is also amazing! I have brought my 92 year old grandma for brunch and my young kids for lunch and everyone loves this place.....CLEAN fun and memorable...we will be back every time we are in town.....Thanks Tads!!!!

    Stopped in under a recommendation.  Service at the bar was great and pleasant however the food was not.  Ordered a burger (temp specific) and got a well done charred piece of meat.  Definitely would not go back for the food even though it is on the waters edge with a patio.  Maybe only for drinks.  Also watch what you eat as the food safety does not seem to be adhered to much.  As I was watching the cook grab food and sides with bare hands and never wash their hands. I can image that there are some levels of bad practices and issues.  Also watched the kitchen staff treat servers like crap because they made an error.  Sorry but if you have an open concept kitchen you better play nice all the time.   *******Use caution****

    It was a very busy day. Server was fast and food came out very good and fast too, for being so busy!
